ATR appoints Giovanni Tramparulo as new Chief Financial Officer

The ATR Assembly of Members has appointed Giovanni Tramparulo (56), as ATR's new Chief Financial Officer. On the scope of his new position, he will be in charge of Controlling, Accounting & Treasury, Sales Financing, Credit & Risk Management and Internal Control.

Giovanni has a detailed knowledge of ATR, as he previously worked on the programme since 1992 to 2014. During his previous experience at ATR, among other positions he had been Chief Financial Officer (2007-2010) and CEO's Sales Finance Special Advisor (2010-2014). Before that, Giovanni had been responsible of ATR's Department of Sales Financing. Since 2012, he had been CEO's Sales Finance Advisor at Superjet International in Venice.

He started his career in the aeronautical industry in 1985 at the Treasury Department of Aeritalia in Naples with the responsibility of managing foreign currencies. In 1988 he moved to the Headquarters of Alenia in Rome where he was responsible for Export Finance and Special Projects covering military and civil aircraft worldwide for all the divisions.

He is a lecturer for corporate finance and aircraft sales financing for various MBAs organized by the French National Institute of Civil Aviation (ENAC) of Toulouse, and developed with the Faculty of Aeronautics of the University of Rome a Master in Air Transport for the benefit of engineers working in the aviation industry.

Giovanni Tramparulo is graduated cum laude in Economics from the University of Naples (Facoltà di Economia e Commercio) with business studies at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et d'Administration in Lausanne, Switzerland.
